As for me I still love the fact I get to temper with save files for me to mods, as long as someone smart enough to create a modifiying program for whatever game I’m playing hahaha. Bravely Default II is finally coming to PC on Steam beginning September 2. But yeah I hear you, having cloud saves can help prevent what you were describing with DS3. AndLike all gamers on here, we’ve all used Cloud Saving at all one point, but I never would have guessed it’s not charging nothing to developers. I’m actually surprised hearing developers cost 0 to have Cloud Saves on their games.

It's also pretty useful if you have multiple PC's and want to sync progress seamlessly (something that will be really useful with the upcoming Steam Deck). Sure, you can copy your files or use a save manager program but it's built native into Steam and requires no extra effort from your part. Like for me, I normally locate all my save files to mod modify them like enhancing my character's weapons, quests or just my characters in generals. Playing around with some of the games on Steam's save files, I realized that you can locate your game save filing folders and do what you like with it like make a copy, leave it there and transfers or even mod them if you like. Since February 26, 2021, the game is available for the Nintendo Switch.Originally posted by K9Chaotic:I'm not saying you're wrong, but is there certain significant for cloud saves with you?
